Beers looks to make waves at Englishtown

Monroe Township, NJ: Central Jersey Top Alcohol Funny Car driver Duane Beers won’t have far to travel to one of his favorite racetracks, Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ, for the 37th Annual K&N Supernationals presented by R&S Strauss Discount Auto.
Living a mere five minutes from the track, Beers will be racing in his backyard at a track where he spent much of his youth and made his first quarter mile pass.

Beers, is entering his second season as driver for the Ferriolo Motorsports team of Barry & Bonnie Ferriolo from nearby Allentown, NJ. “We have a car with all the right parts and pieces in it and just need to get the right tune up on board and we can make some waves in the competition” Beers said. “I’ve been racing on this track since I was 17 and have won plenty of races and want to add another one this weekend”.

When not racing, Beers an avid surfer, can be found most weekends at a beach on the Jersey Shore riding waves on his surfboard.
“It’ll be exciting racing at home, my family, friends as well as many of my customers will be here to cheer me on” Beers said. “The ultimate would be to bring home a win. That’s the goal and we’ll be working pretty hard to get it done.”

With dedicated car owners in Barry & Bonnie Ferriolo and the great crew of Jimmy Dunn and John Rovas, the Ferriolo Motorsports team also looks to showcase the team sponsors, Central Metals, CMC Crane Rentals and Inframetals.
