BBC spring pressure

    we run a 477 chev with a brodix 2 xtra head on it. intake and exhaust valves are titanium with T and D rockers 6-71 blower 30 lbs boost on our dragster. 9000 rpms in the lights. the valve springs we have on it have 350 lbs seat and are 985 open. is this too much or not enough ? just tryin to get some more opinions if possible. thanks

    Couple of years ago , i purchased from Jim Oddy a set of brand new 400M heads , with a cam around 800 lift . these heads was fitted with 350-360 pounds seat pressure.

    IMO... i think you'd be fine as long as you running a longer than stock valve. especially with Ti valves. that's close to where i run my junk and i'm poor (poor=stainless valves). but we consistently turned ours 9k without missing a beat.
