bbc Block starter 32v??

    anyone ever hit a block mount bbc starter with 32volts and keep it together.

    Have you tried 24v? I start my blown small block on 24v and it spins it very fast.

    Tried 36 volts once on a hard starting app. With a lot of cranking time I exploded the armature. Not so much the voltage at fault as the time and load.

    I run a CSR platinum 24 volt starter using 32 volts to starter having good luck on a BAE with 1471 and MSD 44 mag block mounted
