Are these runs considered, as Will would say, In Mineshaft Conditions ??

I was told -400 ft on Saturday. Sounds pretty Death Valley-ish to me:)

    Alotta Fun !

Hey guys, we had alot of fun this weekend, running in some great air with a pretty good racetrack. Do to the re-schedule, and a couple of weird circumstances, I travelled back to Virginia with only my dad with me. It's been along time since I ran one of my cars with one crewman. But with some great help from our Torco teammates (Dave Hedges and Mick Snyders crews) we were able to make it.

Scott, on my weather station, the air ranged from +183 feet to +685 feet. Pretty awsome stuff. Wish we could race in those conditions more often.

Thanks Bama Boys. See you soon.

Darren, I won't claim to know exactly what to do with the new pulley set-up yet, but I did lower the shift points when AI put the pulleys on. The car runs better in the mid-range, and (I believe) fiils the intake port at a lower RPM, thus making it useless to rev it as high as we used to. It will take alot of time and tinkering before we all figure out everything we need to know about using the extra (earlier) boost. So far the clutch hasn't like it, until Virginia.

    Belts

    Darren,
    Sorry for the delay.
For us it's been a white lettered belt every run, or a purple lettered belt every other run.

    Take care,
    Marty
