Has any one had any failures of the input shaft safety Sprag on the B&J Quick Drive unit?

    Thanks for the replys,

My converter drive safety sprag was also fine when running loose converter running 7sec.
It seams now after failing 3 sprags, it can't handle a tight converter and tall gearing in a 3150lbs promod running 6.8sec. (557ci bbc,R980 WHIPPLE 48%, 1.69 1st,3.89 rear, 34.5 tyre)

Has anyone running a lenco drive, in a simular weight car had any safety sprag issues?
Also, why is it lenco gives you the option to have the safety sprag in the lenco drive? Or do they suffer the same fate?

B&J and the guy from Colorado that does most of the converter drive stuff both recommend running without a sprag for high horsepower or high shock applications. Have you looked into this?
