Hey I am looking to replace the cover on my race trailer awning. The current one has a white top and is really dirty. Its old and has a couple little rips so it's time for a new one. I have a couple questions- Colors-does a black top work ok? Not too hot? Not too dark? What trick features do I need to consider? What have you guys (and girls) liked and hated about awnings? black

I prefer black, there's a reason why we don't wear white crew shirts. Just look at the Maddern crew at the end of a hard day :)

The black provides best shade on hot days. You can always supplement the light if you need more.

DMP is pretty good at retro fitting awning covers. Be sure to give them a call.
