Has anyone had any trouble assembling a new 'glide and having to machine some of the case at the back to give the valve body enough clearance to sit properly? I am surprised (and annoyed) that I am having to do this, and wondering if it's just my case or a machining issue at ATI?

    Thanks,
    Paul.

I built mine in 06 and the only problem i had was it needed a longer parking pawl.

I also had to retap the thread for the transbrake solenoid. Not as simple as it might seem; it is a rare thread (11/16 x 11, UNS) I hope I never have to put a helicoil in there!

    Bellhousing Bolts

    It gets worse :(

The bolts holding the bellhousing to the case were too short and only holding on by about two or three threads. I am fairly certain they were the original bolts as they were well and truly glued in!

May I suggest to anyone who has got one of these to check theirs next time they have it out!

    Paul.
