Well after scouring Jegs & Summit Racing I thought I had what I needed for the correct part numbers for several studs that I needed. Does anyone know sizes/lengths of ARP studs or can anyone point me in a better direction for studs? After receiving my order from Summit, it appears what they had written down and what the actual part number was, is two different things (I need 7/16-14 base x 7/16-20 top x 2.25" in length and I got 7/16-14 base x 3/8-24 top).

    What I need

    Stud #1
    Base Thread size: 7/16 - 14
    Top Thread size: 7/16 - 20
    Length 2" to 2.25"
I need approximately 36 of these.

    Stud #2
    Base Thread size: 3/8 - 16
    Top Thread size: 3/8 - 24
    Length 2" to 2.25"
I need approximately 30 of these.

I need them to be 190,000 tensile strength or stronger, rolled threads, etc (the ARP ones I had looked at were Chromoly 8740 models).

Allen, Just call ARP direct. We order direct from them all the time. If they do not stock them thay will make them for you. Jason Webb

Jason, I will give them a call tomorrow. The "tech" I got put through to the first time I called looking for these sizes was absolutely no help at all, hopefully this time I have better luck!

Thanks guys, called into ARP this morning first thing and got what I needed coming!

Duane, yes that would be me. Not cars, tractor pulling, this is actual for a grease burnin project that I am helpin out on! Although my usual ride is mechanically fuel injected, so lurk here quite often reading up on information.

The project the parts I was looking for are going on http://youtu.be/ov9UzIuJLTM.

    My usual summer ride http://youtu.be/198LWTm4xlY.

How's the sledding season been for ya Duane?
