talked with brian coffey from gunderson's team today here's what i gathered:

    1. gunderson 5.21
    2. evans 5.75
    3. allen 6.03
    4. horner 15 something
    5. ??

other racers on hand were don fiorrelli, but he banged the blower in the warm up for the first qual and the 2nd qual got rained out. leverich was also there, but did not get his motor built in time for the first run so missed the field. allen spun a rear main on the qualifying run and had problems with his spare motor, so did not make round 1. so given that information, i'm guessing horner beat gunderson's tire smoking run in r1 and evans got a bye when allen couldn't make the call. then horner and evans squared off in the final, with horner taking the win on a holeshot. you think it being a non points event they could have worked fiorelli and leverich into the show on sunday. they're pretty 'official' down there, so i guess that's the call.

they would not let Fioreli and leverich in because they would have to pay 2 more cars.
screw the fans that paid an entry fee to get half a show. Again Moroso screws the pooch again.
When i set in the bleachers on the right hand side of the track all you could see of the dragsters was the rollcage. you could not tell whos car it was. Second the pro mod show had three cars show up. They eliminated the the top fuel cars they always ran in the past. Then they would not let the to other cars make up a rained out Qualifying pass on sunday morning to make it a better show. A good promoter would have booked in 8 or 10 cars and gauranteed the racers show up money.Guaranteed $600.00 tow money and then run for the purse. what they saved not booking in the fuel cars they could have booked in Funnycars /dragsters and Pro mods. Just another Citrus nationals The problem is I remember when the Citrus Nationals was a great race.
