wondering if any of you old guys recognize what this pump and barell valve might be used for. waterman was useless for any info on it, so some of you old guys might recognise what this old stuff is. no markings on anything to help either. im sure the hat was built anywhere from 80-88 or so, not sure on the vintage, but ive only seen one on shirleys car, one on pastorinies fuel car and one on a bracket car in sacramento, any takers on what this stuff might be? goto my photobucket album for pictures........... http://s918.photobucket.com/albums/ad26/nitrobandit1/waterman parts/

I think Gary Beck also played with one. I don't remember if it had a trick name or not. Surprised Waterman didn't offer up the info. Maybe it's not one of his finer moments. I always wanted to try the center section and scoops on a project.

    goood luck

just for the record, i have only seen one for sale ever! i really dont think there was that many of these made. ive never seen any on a cackle car or a display car either! it is actually a very well made piece. very heavy duty, and super tight fit on the blades. there is a fuel rail with nozzles running down the middle as well as the 8 regular down nozzle holes. must have been a blower cooing setup like the end nozzles we use now to cool the end plates. i need to find somebody with experience with this thing to help make it run again! now that would be cool!

Get in touch with Jr and/or Troy Kaiser from Denver, CO. Jr has one of these set ups that he used to run in Top Fuel and Troy used it a number of yrs ago on a Blown Alcohol dragster.

There used to be a white RED that ran Super Eliminator Korbel series in Sacramento that ran one of those injectors--- don't know about the pump though.
