Aluminum rod question

do u have to mic the bearing for its thickness, so it doesnt spin and spit out the rods. or mic the big end of the rods to make sure the bearing doesnt get spun? thx

It is good to mike the big end + the bearing, so you know the dimensions, but the pin in the cap will hold the bearing. the rod changes so much in the engine cycle. Just what I think I know. Someone else can chip in. Don
