Which Aluminium Rods Are Better For A Sbc Alcohol Blower ? Me I Have "bme" But The Bolt Are 3\8, What Kind Of Rods Have 7\16 Bolt ?

Back in my small block days we always ran manley rods and never had one problem and the motor ran 6.60's all day long

 

I'd suggest the MGP ProMod rods for a blown application. There cap centering is superior and they use the A-1 rod bolts.

Call Jeff Fowler at Fowler engines 614 258 2924 they make the nicest rods I have seen or used. Fowler rods are made from billet aluminum and they are absolute works of art! and one real nice feature is that the caps are doweled so ,no fumbling around with feeler gauges .

Id second that we have run blown small blocks for awhile and have not yet broken a fowler rod bent them yes and they were bent alot but engine still running, but not yet have we broken on or ever seen one break in engines we have built. Call the boys down there they can help you out tell them the boys from maine told you call. Darrin
