Hi guys we ve been using Alky Pro for several years now on my top alcohol funnycar and as the owner of the car can tell you we have hurt nothing engine wise . The best part is the fact that the crew at Alkypro are always working on updating the program to suit there customer requirements at no extra cost to the teams .We have also found the ability to run our tuneup program very consistently with the varying weather ,over the last two meetings our times have been 5.44 ,5.44 ,5.43 5.42 then last meeting 5.49 ,5.44 ,5.40 5.38 with 60 foot times between .911 and .922 .At the last meeting we tested the new phone app wich when using the altalab weather station will send updated weather and mainpill changes to your phone .Granted im a little biased as Greg Gower is my crewchief but if you look at some of the guys using it and ask there opinion its well worth a look but whichevery program out of the two you mentioned you will be getting the befefit of Patrick Hales innovations in tuning Alcohol cars. The feedback from some pritty smart tuners out there confirms this. Its not my intent to knock anybodys product as this is only my own experience . A friend has suggested the Davenport program today. Would that work using up to 30% nitro also?

I like the idea of the weather station reporting but I have an Altronics weather station instead of the Alta Labs...

Catman, on your question about Jetsize and Nitro the answer is yes but to make it accurate as with methanol you should use a flow meter. Jetsize use what is called a Tuning Modifier which allows you to calibrate the software to be what your fuel system is flowing. Jetsize, and I am sure Alkypro, can be adjusted so that every run is the same as flow bench data run. I have not used Alkypro yet because I am used to Jetsize and I have NEVER damaged a motor with it either. I will say this that anybody using either of these programs can destroy a motor if you don't know what you are doing. Remember with both programs "garbage in gives you garbage out". I have viewed a lot of Jetsize program setups on cars over the years that are wrongly setup and this can happen with Alkypro also.

Thanks Mike, I've been considering a flow meter on the car
Appreciate all of you guys input. The gentleman I have helping me tune right now has alot of experience with Jet Size. I'm trying to learn it as fast as i can as one of these days he's going to turn me loose. It Would be a little intimidating right now on my own.
