    sump

I use the moroso std with no popoff. I doubt it will hold 2000psi but it's been trouble free.

    accumulator

I ran the moroso 3 qt setup for years on my chevy motors but now that i'm running a hemi setup i cant figure the best way to plumb it in, i currently have it going to the back of the block hoping that it would feed the rear main first. before that i had it teed into the suction line of the pump.

when i ran it on the chevys you could see it working, when you pulled the chutes after a run the oil pressure would drop to just about zero and then instantly jump back up to around 40 psi but on this hemi i don't see any sign of it working. i usualy run around 18 qts of oil in the motor total. any ideas?

    thanks

Thanks Bill, that was the first place that i originaly had it installed before moving it to the back of the block but i didn't see any effect in either installation other than when i first fire the motor up the oil pressure only goes to 40 psi for a few seconds and then jumps up to 80 or so. i'm guessing while it's holding at 40 it's probably bleeding some oil off to fill the accumulator, but i'm not seeing the oil pressure jump back up after falling at the end of a run as i did in my chevy motors.

i'm wondering if a smaller -8 line would let it bleed out slower and maintain a longer duration of pressure?

    thanks
    Scott
