Just a public, personal thanks to Harry Clack, owner of the ATC Racing TAFC I drove over the past two years.

Harry will be focusing his efforts on his new business venture, a sports bar/resturaunt "The Big Easy Daiquiri Factory", in Orange Beach, Ala. His current business, Advanced Transmission Center, is 4 hrs away in Lafayette, La., which doesn't leave time to race for the forseeable future, so after receiving an offer he couldn't refuse on the motor equipment, Harry has elected to sell the remaining parts of the operation.

I was hoping to be able to make this kind of thanks in front of an ESPN2 Camera after a round win, but, unfortunately, we never got the chance.
Harry took a chance on a rookie who had some bracket racing experience, a few laps in a roots FC and A/F car, along with crew experience. We had some ups and downs along the way, but we were getting some people's attention right there at the end. He stuck with me through the learning curve both on the tuneup and my driving. He also pretty much gave me free reign on the direction we needed to go on tuneup and parts.

I not only learned quite a bit driving, but tuning. I don't want to paint the picture I tuned it on my own, Harry brought quite a bit of expertise to the table and was a big factor in the tuning side. He's an absolute technical wizard when it comes to transmissions and chassis.

Also a big thanks to all the hard work the team put into the car. Nick Breaux, Dale Babin and Kevin Sonnier, I appreciate everything and I'll miss racing with yall. JB Hudson, who I've raced with since high school, will be joining me on Steve Harker's crew for the remainder of the year.

Harry, I just want everyone to know I appreciate you giving me the shot of a lifetime. I'll always remember that, and I'll glady do anything to help in any of your future endeavors. I'll be sure to make a few trips to see how the Big Easy is doing.

Best of luck in whereever the road takes you in the future.
