Just curious for the moment about A/Fuel with an altered

I know Ron Boggs did it back in the late 80s/early 90s with pretty good sucess running 6.01 best I think. For a pretty simple setup what are you looking at regards compression, fuel systems, cams etc

We currently run injected alky through a crower 'stack injection' system inti a 517ci BBC and who knows it might want 25% or so tipping in it at some point in the future ;)

one day I'd love a full on A/Fuel motor in a 125" altered

Those are some neat numbers. Are those what you run in your A-fueler?

I personally consider this forum to be for real answers to real questions.
Although I run a blown alcohol car and know next to nothing about A/Fuel. If I ever did decide to change over and believe me I think about it alot. I know the learning curve would be steep and very expensive without real help from my fellow racers.
Thats why I take my time to answer questions for others that are in my scope of knowledge to the best of my abilities.

Thanks for the great site Will.

I thought they were some neat numbers.
there are atleast 15 different ways to run a A/fuel motor,
some work some DONT, No I dont own a A/fueler, but
I have had my hands in a few.
These are ruff numbers i threw out there, because someone
asked and no one else had replied.
    and these are some numbers
that have gone 5.24 ,5.27, 5.30 in just one motor,,,etc..
.i am not a (designed) tuner
and only an experianced engine builder/can and have done it all kinda
guy so ,..yes,... i know alittle.
once you know, and are familiar with what your motor likes,
and the equiptment that is on it, its actually not difficult to
    tune A/fueler. ...
