A-Fuel hot weather tuneup

    Read somewhere that Henges is hanging it up.
    With many the good BAD switching or quiting it will be a no brainer as to which type of car will dominate the stats in the future.
    Was impressed with Ashley and Darien at the Rusk div. 4 event. Most all of their runs were in the 40's with 95 deg. heat and 130 deg. track. They have figured the hot weather tuneup out.
    What happened in the first round to the low qualifying fuel cars at Woodburn?

    We were in Woodburn and the track stayed good prbably better on Sunday but the weatther got a bunch better for Sunday...Pressure alt. went way down ...It was hot but the air was better all round...the slower classes were picking up 3 or 4 100ths ...

    Thats really strange. What happened to the A-Fuel cars the first round on Sunday. They smoke the tires?
