sold all my blown stuff, building A fuel program. The advice I was given by many smart people was to by a tune up from a established team , save money, parts and time. But before I do that I need some basic component information. what is the best bore stroke combination, standard deck, tall or short, rod length, compression ratio. and cylinder head, fat head or fuel head, I assume fat head, 5,6,8 any preference?
Any help would be appreciated, Thanks guys and thanks Will.

get a tuner first and they will point you in the right direction on all of that.

short deck is the most common. definitely a fat head style head. You want to get the A/Fuel version/port. Noonan, AJ, BAE all make A/F specific heads.

depending on who you hire, they may be able to lead you to some good used parts that will fit their combo.
