A/Fuel build general questions

    I have been kicking around the idea of building up an A/Fuel TAD over the next few years. I was just hoping to put something together that can run 5.5-5.4's without tearing up too many parts. My plan would be to slowly piece something together as I can afford the parts.

    Does anyone have any rough estimates/experience on what it would cost to do that with used parts? I.e. how much would I be looking at for a motor, how much for a clutch set up, the necessary electronics etc?

    Any guidance is much appreciated,

    When I priced up doing an a fuel car it was around 75K. That was about 2 years ago and that was a rough estimate.

    Somebody told me about 4 years ago you could run one on a shoestring for 60k per year once it was built.
