Talked with a guy today that runs a pulling truck, he has been fighting some problems..so as in our conversation I ask him some stuff about his fuel system ect...ect...ect.. then I ask him when his ports come in at what PSI he then told me I don't run a popit on my ports..is there something I'm missing here!!!! Or do the pulling guys do something all different? Dave

If he runs a sassy combo his has two barrel valves and one controls one side of the system and the other controls high side.

Having no poppet valve on the port nozzles would only make a difference when the motor is at idle rpm. Once the motor comes up under load then all would be the same. Can't understand the reason for doing it that way because it is going to be harder to control the idle AFR. It would mean less fuel going through the blower at idle so less cooling of the incoming air and less lubrication of the blower. Since they probably don't do burnouts and backups they probably only at idle for a short time.
