did you see any Blower cars run in the 5.20 all week. on Sunday the corrected alt was close to 3000 feet and they still ran in the 20s with Torrence running 5.231 in the finals at 2933 feet. With the best run by a blower car was Thakers 5.415.

Ihave to agree with bulldog on that one pat.i think they should let you guys have bigger & better blowers , so you can spend just as much money as the a-fuelers have , to go just as fast
somebody needs to build a new "WICHIT" FOR BLOWN CARS. its been a while , but i do agree ,it's not even @ the moment , or until somebody buys a new trick piece& wins a bunch of races, the cost is getting out of hand. the only economical way to not cost anybody money is to cut the % & thats for both sides , but alot of people are buying cyl heads right know both on blown & injected teams funnycar & dragsters because they are available. & some et's have improved but is that the awnser more parts ? maybe if we got more prize$$ i agree we have to limit somthing. percentage is definitly the cheapest thing you add weight & they buy new engine parts to make new C.I.D to weight ratio, spending more cash!
2% slowed em down over the winter, but as soon as it got rolling , so did the a-fuelers,now most a-fuelers are buying smaller heads to run as fast as they can , rules will always be tricky in this class, just my veiw on the subject

I'll keep you posted, but don't hold your breath.

I have great faith in NHRA reactifing the situation. Maybe I should say "wreck"tifying the class.

The top 5 cars ran in .20's in qualifiying. Great work. I know many of the teams have been doing this for a long time and putting in all those long hours etc. Even Ray Hack sneaked in a twenty.

NHRA is doing there best to keep the class affordable and competitive. Great job. Keep it up.

Has there been 5 blown runs in the .20's???
