    Trying to blip the timing at the shift. We installed an airswitch on the lenco pod powering the step 2 wire. When it shifts it holds the timing out as long as the pod is pressurized. I put .5 seconds for the time so I thought it would hold it out for .5 then ramp back in? Does the step delay have something to do with this? I left it set at default.

    The Step Retard will stay on as long as there is 12 volts going to it. That time delay is the time it takes to ramp out AFTER the 12 volts is removed. The Step Delay is only used if you use the RPM function in the Step Retard to prevent it from switching off immediately if you pedal so to prevent full timing coming back in during a critical pedal time. If I understand you correctly that you want a little retard at the shift for a short period of time then you would have to use something like a Digi-Set timer in the Step Retard circuit. So the Lenco Pod air activated switch would turn on a timer say for .2 seconds then it would shut off and the Step Ramp time would ramp it out.

    To make a long story short you have to turn that 12 volts off that is coming from the airswitch to turn that Step Retard back off.
