801 Racing & Cody Perkins Ready to Stay on Top

Fallon, NV - Sometimes it can be difficult racing again after an event win. Top Gun Raceway near Reno will provide the backdrop for another attempted conquest. Fresh off victory at the NHRA Summer Nationals at Topeka, Cody Perkins and the Top Alcohol Team of 801 Racing are ready to keep the good times rolling.

This weekend's race will showcase a total of two winning Top Alcohol Dragsters. Perkins and Chris Demke of the Clean Boost Racing Team both won their last race, and are the only dragsters entered.

"This will be a race to see who can get down the track, not who has the most power," said Perkins. "It all boils down to one five second moment."

Perkins does have a secret weapon. Grandma Riddle is at the track and holding court. Known throughout the pits as "Grandma," she's the soul of the team and will provide tuning insight.

The 801 Racing Team put in a busy week preparing for this race. Having a recent trophy looking on does make it a bit easier, and having Grandma at the track makes it even better.

The Top Alcohol Class qualifying begins on Friday, June 10th at 6:00 PM and resumes Saturday, June 11th at Noon and 4:00 PM. Final Eliminations will begin on Sunday, June 12th at Noon.

801 Racing is a privately held company based in Salt Lake City, Utah that produces a unique and innovative ‘solid fuel technology.’ Named Pulse Power Boost, it comes in a solid red ball and is a fuel boost catalyst that completely dissolves in the fuel tank. The increase in power is next to immediate as it fully dissipates once dissolved. The product works in gas, alcohol and diesel engines. Pulse Power Boost will come packaged in a sealed pouch or in an embossed display tin. 801 Racing's, Pulse Power Boost is targeted at the racing community for all forms of motorsports (not intended for street use) that need an edge against the competition in the other lane or to get out ahead of the pack and stay there.
