The best I have ever seen posted on drag race central by far was a .872 by The Rhino powered car of "The Iceman" Ken Perry.

    60'

Most that shoot for a good 60' wind up with most of their sh** laying on the ground at 80'!!
You might become a star if you shoot for a good 330' instead.

Dragster just quoted that during Manzo's barage of 5.40's in VA, his 60' was in the .930's and an 1/8th mile speed of 211. Pretty stout.

    I remember when Mitch Myer's ran that 5.10@278 in Pomona, I believe(?) his 60' was around a .90ish. But his 1/8 was a 3.39@215.

My best 60' resulted in shaking the master cylinder off the car, the filter for the bellhousing and eventually two rods and pistons. But damn that sixty foot was cool!

Would it be possible for a suspended 2400lb door car w/ a screw blown hemi to achieve a .935 or quicker?

Quit talking about 60'- Who cares !

Oh yea.... let me have a shot at your barrell valve, I could probably make it leave like a sleeping cat that just had it's tail stomped on by a cowboy boot !!
You are on your own for the next 1260' though, hope your wallet can take it.
    See above post.

    60 footer

remember some guys would 60' their butts off, then shake the top of 1st and the run would result in either peddaling or abort. yes there have been incredible 60's and 330's, but the car was on the verge of "stupid" and shook or spun. Unless it was at a great track with awsome conditions, like Richmond was this year. Ace was proof there, and alot of people ran their personal bests and just threw everything they had at the track.
