If you are running to the 1/8th mile you can get away with a lot more "stuff" than the 1/4 milers can. Newer heads mean a few hundreths, not tenths. If you are down on power you need to look over your existing program to see where you can improve. Because if you do the same thing after spending thousands on newer stuff you'll be sadly disappointed.

Tell us if you now have to retard the ignition to launch and at what time you have full timing back in? Also tell us what car you are racing, thanks

I've seen some pro extreme cars use brad 6 heads as of last year. Compression, cam, blower. All you need. Lol

Any other details? Supercharger, Camshaft, Car, Weight, Clutch or Converter, etc.? Nothing wrong with BAE 6 Heads. Great head. More than happy to help. mikejanis1065@gmail.com 716-628-2591

I never had heads any newer than Brad 6's, which is what was on mine when we won the 2012 Winternationals. We ran mid 5.50's in my TA/FC all the way back in 2004 at the Winternationals when 5.53 was the record (Marc White driving) with junk Brad 5 heads, 92% overdrive on a loose uncoated PSI D supercharger. They were 16 spark plug heads with metal plugs screwed in 8 of the spark plug holes, had pushrod tubes sticking into the intake ports and had been fixed about a dozen times. It's all about a good combination of cam, compression, fuel and timing.

And like I said, in 1/8th mile racing you can get away with some crazy stuff.
