Reichert goes 5.27 @ 273mph in the 3rd session at Houston. Just heard it on NHRA.com's live audiocast. Olivarez goes 5.31, Gallant apparantly almost flipped over early in the run. No word on damage. Torrence smokes the tires again, Force goes 5.37, I think.

If it aint broke don't fix it. Everyone thinks you need this that or the other thing. Mitch Meyers, (aka) Steve Boggs, went 5.10 with Brad heads why would anyone think you need something different? Just because one team try's something new everyone else thinks they need to, also. That's retarded. Nobody knows their shit better than Bill. The car is quick and fast for a reason, and it's not because he is using some new trick stuff that nobody else has, it's because he knows how to make basic stuff do it's job. Just bolting on some new knob doesn't make your car faster, it's knowing and understanding how stuff is supposed to work that is important. If it aint broke don't fix it!!!!

Gary Parks,Reichert,Gallant and a few others ran our 2.500 valve head a few years ago. they ran good with them then tried the BAE heads and ran the same. They continue to use them because that is what they own now. If they tried the BAE then our head , they might be running our head now.we do offer a fuel head that is used by doug herbert,Joe Amato,Morgan lucas, frank Pedregon, and a few others.Any head will run good if your are patient enough to work out the combination.

I tought that they were running the new A J heads with the smaller intake port runners, made expressly for A fuel.

    Big chamber fuel heads

    :D
We tried running the big chamber heads when getting started. The main problem was the piston weight with the big domes and the difficulty of obtaining a high enough compression ratio with the short stroke.
Hartley and Cooper ran 5.3? at Topeka div. race a couple years ago with the fuel heads but were not able to do it consistant.
