Building a new screw/whipple combo / Chevy ... Mostly Bracket racing , some quick 8 ... Plan on around 11-15 lbs of boost , making 8-18 passes double entered every day of racing, about 10-15 min between rounds Do they make a 481x with water jackets ? Or only solid ? What about a new century block? Or Fontana ? Good or bad ? Before I buy a Merlin / dart / checking out my options , thanxxx disco

New Century is great with water. I know several that do great with this block. With the level of boost you are talking about, you would be OK with any quality block. I ran a Merlin aluminum splayed billet cap with 40 lbs on a 14/71 HH SSI with water Pro-Filer heads and o-rings with zero issues.
