Word on the street there are 4 "I Fuelers" at San Antonio this weekend. 19 cars total. don't have names, but i'm guessing Hirata, Stark, Cooper and Brounkowski. will be hard for them to make the bump (8 cars in ihra), but will be interesting.

hirata bowers and cooper so far. wonder if stark made the trip? 5.28 bump after one session, and hirata is closest at 5.47....this field will take a 4 to get in i'm sure by the time this is over.

I saw a photo of Hartley's car at the race. Is Cooper in Hartley's car or his own?

Right now it dont look like the A-Fuel cars are doing very good. Hard to take a new combination and make it fast the first race

Hartly (Cooper), Harita, Bowers, and Carl MaGee
are the a-fuel cars at the IHRA Nat. this info. came from a phone call to me from Carl after the 1st Qual. session. I was suppose to go with Carl as I set his fuel system up but got the crud last Thurs. and couldn't make it. Carl made his first full pass on the car since changing from the Olds to the new 421 Hemi comb. It was a 5.62 at 234.
With lots of room for improvement. His computer quit working and he got no data, so the gpm and fuel curve I figured for him must have been fairly close. Don't know what happened yet on Sat.
