Has anyone run without the rear nozzles in the blower? This is a fully stripped blower, I only turn it 18-20% over.

Sure you can but the Teflon wears out fast. The reason is to keep the rotors cool and extend the life of the Teflon longer. So yes you can but why would you not want to.

I know the reason for putting the fuel in the back of the blower, just wondering if anyone has any experience with not doing so and the results.

I have always run rear nozzles. Never tried running it without rear nozzles just for the sake of seeing if it damaged the rotors or not or whatever. Yeah, one might argue that with the rotors pulling air (and fuel) from the front nozzles then that same air might lubricate the rotors and strips at the rear, but, really? Why wonder or worry, just run them. They are still part of the total equation of fuel/ air mix.
Or, to answer your own question, run it without any rear nozzles and then let US know if it tore up your schtuff.

I guess I gotta ask. Given the reason for doing it then why would you want to not do it. I don't think anyone would want to damage their blower by not doing it.

I was thinking that having all the nozzles in the incoming airflow might be advantageous. Just throwing it out there to see if anyone has tried it.

No! The fuel doesn't get to the back of the rotors. You see some cases are offsetting the points they enter. Allowing for 4 different nozzles to spray the rotor and rear seals.

those back nozzles are not there for the fuel system.. they are there for cooling... they keep the whole back of the blower cool. the strips, seals and bearings.. heat will break down the oil or grease in the rear bearings and do damage to everything back there...
