1 5/8" Hose for Fuel Line

Hi,
Can I use silicone radiator hose to couple the main fuel line on our TAFC?
The specs say that silicon is not resistant to fuel.

I am currently using rubber radiator hose, and I am looking for a better alternative.

What do you use on your car?

Silicone hose is not resistant to gasoline, but is fine with methanol.

We use it with no problems.

 

Agreed. I have a silicone 90* hose on my fuel line. No issues @ all.
