I thought Any Nitro fueled car in ADRL was limited to 50%! I'm curious how TC can make power at 50% with an A/Fuel combo!

Talk about thinking outside the box. Clint Gray has an interesting project going and being discussed over on Speedtalk Advanced. Could make injected nitro step up to a whole new playing field.

Anyone have experience running > 50% nitro mix through a diesel injector?

We have run lower than 50% with no issues, but nitro becomes shock sensitive as the percentage increases.

POP pressure would be somewhere in the 2000-4000 psi range (high rpm), but would that constituent enough shock to detonate the injector?

We can use the recorded combustion data to get around any combustion related issues, we just don't want to have the injector detonate, along with unknown amounts of collateral damage.

    Thanks.
