The final was a staging duel - wild. Mark rapped the throttle a couple times, Jay wouldn't lite the first beam. Finally Mark said enough of this and went in and brought it up. Jay went in right away and Mark treed him . To me that says Jay respects Mark enough to consider him a threat to win and that feels good to be a part of it. I like Jay, he's been encouraging to me and I'm honored that he's paid any attention to me but I know they're all watching. I'm getting to know Bob Newberry a little. Anyway getting the car ready before the final Mark discovered a stuck lifter, had to pull the pan and the blower with 35 min to be in the lanes... Div. Director ran off all the other categories first to give us more time....Finkes guys came over and who knows who else thrashing on that thing, worse yet dropped two blower washers into the motor while pulling the blower off and still we got that car turned around and a contenter. - Eric

Hey once again great job to you guy's, looked like you guy's had a bit of a hard time getting going but then you got on track and ran good and gave Jay all he could handle wow what a final round. Good luck at the Gators
