Alcohol Tuning

    Alright guys lets get a little discusion going. I am new to alcohol tuning and have a few questions. First lets talk about EGTs and timing and there relationship to one another. Reason I am asking is that I believe my combination is to rich it is not a blown hemi but a twin turbo hemi. My question is how can you tell if you are too rich, just off of egts? My engine seems to be breaking up a bit and I believe she is too rich but I also think I am too conservative on the timing. Now which aspect do we tune first fuel or ignition, if fuel then how do we know adding ignition wont lean it out and require more fuel, if ignition how do we know that she isnt too retarded and thats why egts look right or a little high? I guess you can say im pretty lost here.
