How much hp can I expect to make with a stock 400 Mopar block half filled? Its been working fine so I dont want to trash it. Do I dare try a blower or should I stick to low levels of spray? Im assuming its also a stock crank. Its time to freshen so things can be changed. Currently about 660 horse. Just looking to go faster not break records.

I have no girdle. Its an 1800lb RED that does 8.60s at 153. Id like to get into the 7s. Lightening up the driver would no doubt help a lot.

I made approximately 1000hp on a stock 440 block that was filled to the top with hard block and had billet main caps. It had a 6-71 retro that made about 25 pounds of boost. I had about 30 passes on it with no problems.

My only advice would be don't use a set of dinged up aluminum rods. I am sure everybody here can guess how that ended for me.
