We run A spitzer RED 280WB with 540 1471 30 over with bruno and lenco. When staged on trans brake it creeps.Lowered starting line control 2 times down to 3500 now and still does it.Brunos said you gotta hold your foot on brake pedal. Was wondering if any one else was having this issue and what if anything you did to remedy it ( other than a line loc) Thanks,Tony

What oil are you using in the Bruno? I tried synthetic trans fluid thinking it would help to keep the converter temp down and had the same creeping problem. Went back to regular trans fluid and no more problem. Did you check the band and drum for wear? How much co2 pressure are you using?

I hope your reaction times don't suffer too bad, like .430 you will need to hold your foot on the brake for sure,or by a lenco drive!

Do you have the latest "GIANT" air cylinder on the brake?

Are you using the same regulator for the Lenco shift pods and the Bruno trans brake?
If so you cannot do this. You will need to run a dual regulator one for the Lenco and one @ 200psi for the Bruno trans brake. We found out the hard way after burning up the band & drum.

We run royal purple in our bruno lenco combo. We used to stage around 4k, never rolled on us. I wouldn't think you'd have to hold your foot on the brake...especially w/ the amount of surface area as what's on the band. What really is the point of a trans brake anyway???

X -2 on the air pressure,Never ever had a problem creeping till one race air bottle was almost empty, floored it on the brake and rolled through with red light. Have never ever had to hold the brakes since running the Bruno Lenco from 2003. AJ 481X,2500HP,3100 Lbs.

x3 just as Bob and smokin joe say, you gotta have the air presure split for the t brake vs lenco.
