I just saw that Budweiser was ending it's sponsorship of NHRA and Bernstein. I wondered when that would happen once Bud was bought by the Europeans. The article I read also said they were ending their sponsorship with NHRA. What do they sponsor other than Bernstein? Is Full Throttle owned by Anhaueser Busch? Dave Germain

If it tastes like pi*s....well then

Budweiser= "official beer of NHRA" ( I never cared for their product anyways) I prefer "colorado Koolaid" Coors Light

    Full throttle= Coke product

    Who will be next ?

It is a Belgian (sp?) company that bought out Anheuser Busch back in mid 2008. They already stopped a lot of stuff that AB had going for many years. Being from "near Tampa", I have been to Busch Gardens many, many times. The price of admission went up, the free beer samples stopped, it just isn't the same! They even closed down the brewery and laid off most of the workers.

Stopping their sponsorship of the Bernstein team after about 30 years is just telling us that nothing anymore is a sure thing. God only knows how much money Bernstein generated for Bud over those 30 years compared to the cost of their sponsorship.

The ironic thing is that just a very few weeks ago, it was touted on the networks about the "long standing relationship" with Bud and Bernstein. It sort of led us to believe that this was going to be a "long lasting" relationship.

Now, we all know that news release was totally BS! :D

Look at the bright side, parts will come down in price, because corporate America wont be paying for the parts, if parts co. want to stay in busines they will have to make prices so that the average Joe can afford them. :D
