It would be easier to package up my NHRA 2009 rule book and send it to you than to try to type everything that is in there about updates:eek:

The only way you know it is an update is to compare it with the 2008 rules

Ask specific questions and I can look them up in the rule book and answer them.

Good luck finding out what you need to know!;)

    New for 2009:

Underside body paint fireproofing. All carbon timer boxes, etc under the body had to be painted including inside of the carbon burst tube. The carbon roll cage shrouding does not have to be painted.

Emergency pull handle cable release for rear body tree.

No Impact 2008 SFI 20 suits allowed.

TA/FC is now a claimer series. I sent in my $100.00 to claim Manzo's engine but he isn't returning my calls.

    Seven Point Seat Belts

I saw a picture on "impact racing" web site showing the belts mounted there, which helped us work it out, there has been a thread about this before, if you do a search it should come up. we mounted the two extra belts a little bit further forward to the side belts, have a separate hole in seat for them to come through. and they come up under your legs, I purchased simpson belts but found out that I think it was "taylor belts" are better how they couple all together.
