Transmission oil

What brand of oil do you guys run in your transmissions.

 

Mobile 1 atf in my powerglides and lencodrive

 

Ditto on Mobil 1 ATF.

Royal Purple Max ATF

 

My trans builder recommended AMSOIL Super Shift, have never used anything else (in my racecar) and never had any problem either

 

cat hydrilic<<miss spelled fluid..it is the ticket we have ran 3 seasons on the same clutches we run in the 5's 240mph

we use hydraulic oil to works great we run 6.0 with no prob

 

Are you guys talking about Lenco transmissions too ?

 

my tranny builder suggested royal purple in my powerglide that's behind a blown bbc, it's not cheap but it's supposed to be the best...

I'm not sure about nowdays,but Dominator Convertors here in OZ would only warranty there Blown convertors if you bought and used REDLINE fluid! I'm kinda guessing there was a sales pitch in there but yeah,It's supposed to be good too! Jason.

 

I always used Mobil 1 and had excellent luck with it (glide) running around 1500 hp, then I heard that a guy from Columbia South Carolina who builds a lot of 2000hp glides said that the hydraulic fluid would make the clutches last longer, live and learn.
