Flowing injection system

Hi, some friends of mine had their fuel system flowed by Les Davenport and recommend that i do too (new set up) any idea how i get in touch with him or do you guys have any thoughts ?

 

I have used Les when I first got started in TA\FC , and continued for 8yrs, had nothing but excellent results. He was always there for any questions, and his fuel system program is easy to use and is the sure way not to hurt parts. I think that even if you do not decide to have him do your system, I think that you my want to at least use his program. The shop # is 1-403-938-6200.

Hooking up with Les is the way to go. His "Jetsize" program is used by just about everyone, and it takes the guesswork out of tuning your fuel system. If you are like me and like to make crazy changes at the races, or if you just like to tinker, it gives you a good indication of what to expect on the flow meter before you make changes to your car, which can save you a lot of money in the long run.

Les does occasionally makes it over to Santa Pod but it will work out expensive, and time consuming, to ship your fuel system to Canada. Perhaps you could try somewhere closer to home. Dave Wilson could do it....

Is LES program strictly for blown alcohol or does it do blown Nitro as well?

It really is a great program... I have three of Gorr's weather stations I can sell a couple of them now

software..les has had his software out since the mid 80's sorry if I came off wrong didn't mean it to sound that way...sorry about that spud..I was just talking about his fuel and clutch program almost if not every top alcohol team out there uses it..Dave

 

If "the numbers" refers to numbers of very satifsied customers, I am one of those customers, and know a lot of others. My "proof" would be a flowed and FULLY DOCUMENTED fuel system that goes down the track and doesn't hurt any parts. Like Craig commented, Spud is easy to talk with, very helpful, and reasonably priced.

A lot of places sell fuel systems. But if you want to take your knowledge to the next level and learn how to taylor or create a system yourself you need to input your information into Davenport's Jetsize program and spend time with it.

Most systems sold are baseline and "won't hurt parts". If you want to get to the next level you need to learn how this stuff works. Otherwise, you'll be one of those guys hanging on to someone's skirt for life.

I just got my stuff back from spud for my nostalgia alcohol f/c. It was very complete with more stuff than I sent him. Im sure I confused spud with some of my thoughts on tuning, but he worked with me all the way. I spent good money not to rethink the tune and the money side was very fair. his system gave me the tools to tune the engine at all conditions. thanks spud. mark
