bruno is great as long as you don't abuse it.put a new trans break band in it at the first of the season and again in the middle of the season and forget about it.and try to keep it cool as possible.

We've used a Lencodrive for years. Just air cool the converter in between runs.

The tranny brake on the Lencodrive is electric and the Bruno is air operated. Also the Lencodrive uses the same clutch pack from the planetary for the tranny brake. I've used the Lencodrive since 2003 and it is the most reliable tranny I've ever had.

I have a lenco drive and my buddy has a bruno the pro of the lenco is the electric brake he goes trough alot of air but you must get plenty of current to the lenco drive brake or it will creep in the light bruno also has to have band replaced i pulled the lenco down last winter and clutches were fine the bruno i think has ajustable pump pressure where the lenco dosent but i dont know how much that helps

We use the Lencodrive - very reliable over the last 4 seasons. I think the Bruno is also a good unit...but I'm not sure if they have any bell housings available other than the Chevy pattern...I did not want to use adapters from GM to Hemi at the time, so I went with the Lenco unit...
