I put my question in classifieds dah! sorry. anyway what opereates the pro jack type system? Is it air or hydralic or both. I was thinking of building a set instead of spending 3000 for them.

The ProJacks use an Enerpak air actuated hydraulic pump. An air supply of somewhere around 90 psi works just fine but they do have electrically operated pump systems too. I spared no expense in building mine and I had about 1800$ into them without the chrome. They use all Enerpak pumps, cylinders, and hoses. You can duplicate a set easily enough although be cautious in selling them. The original patent holder gets a little testy when he thinks someone is infringing on his patent rights.
