    Here fishy fishy

Wholesome, how 'bout fishing? At this point I was going to add a picture of a nice sturgeon I'd recently caught but just realized I don't have the option of adding one like I have before. Is it me, or does anyone else notice as they get to the post reply and the icons are different, the first thing we seem to do is

    racecar spelled backwards is RACECAR...

    Russ,

Sorry to hear of your health issues. When I require a surgeon I just go to www.mebmd.com. no need to go "trolling" for a surgeon. Dont let them "lure" you into unneeded sturgery.

racecar backwards? I did not know this

    Don,

I've found that most veternarians can do the same procedures for a far more reasonable price. I just wish they wouldn't insist on me wearing that darn cone!
From the "Get Fuzzy" comic strip. It's around Christmas time and
Rob (the human) tells Satchel (the dog) and Bucky (the cat) to get ready because they're going to see "The Nutcracker". To which Bucky replies, "Hey, if we are going to the vet, just say 'vet'!"

Hey Russ, We all know what Don thinks when he leaves the starting line. ( I can drive this thing all the way back to my pit area.)

Don Hudson secretly wishes he was a Nascar guy

    EJ,

Right you are! That still remains one of my favorite moments in motorsports.

Anyone notice how after this meaningless thread got going Ozzy posts a very difficult (for me) IQ test? Coincendence? I think not. Next he'll having us do the Wonderlic!

nascar is too much like pro stock for me..

Russ, you are testing our friendship with the Nascar stuff, its bad enough that you mentioned my name in the same post that you mention Pro StoK

Cant you guys let that driving back to the pit thing go, what about all the good wheelies, fires, crashes, the one time our ice chest got empty, those are the quality things that we need to hold on to..

Real race cars have BLOWERS on 'em

Don did it in a long, skinny car. And as opposed to Pat, who drove it to the pits with the engine running, coasted down the hill at Sonoma to his pit.
Trivia Question: Who did Pat race against at Mission Raceway Park when he did drive it back to the pits?

I did it at Bakersfield in 1996. I was met by Mr. Schoonover in his white truck who told me he was going to turn me in to the NHRA and have my licensed pulled for driving it in the pits. This was a test-n-tune Saturday where they assured me the track was going to be prepped but it wasn't. I let the clutch out on the starting line, zinged the motor and let off. I was so mad I drove it back to the carpet in my pit. As he was yelling at me two super comp type guys drove by in their cars. I handed him a rule book and asked him to show me where it says I can't drive mine in the pits, too. We kissed and made up.

Hey Russ, was it the Got Milk TA/FC. I don't recall who drove that car maybe Don knows of this guy. Oh yeah the above mentioned Fc is not to be confussed with the fuel fc that was painted like a cow, and also dropped cow crap on the starting line from the chute packs.

    No crap from my parachutes!

EJ you are correct! There was no question that Pat had the better car (and driver) but he did not make it down the track and we managed the upset win. I think it was Brian Hough that told me about hearing the sound of an alcohol car running (which is not unusual in the pits) but knowing it was on the move. He looked out the trailer (he was pitted nearby) and saw Pat pull his car into his pit area, somewhat in disbelief.
Also, thank you for pointing out the distinction between a Mr. Bret Fanning, who did that at a national event, not just any national event mind you, but at the US NATIONALS and our car. His car was the spotted cow look. Our last Dairy Farmers of Oregon "Got Milk" car had more of a flaming cheese look.

Well, that explains the funny smell. We usually get accused of having a "cut the cheese" smell in our pit.
