I was just fitting a browell bellhousing to a TFX block to set up engine placement in a chassis and was using 7/16" bolts through the bellhousing , motor plate and block, and someone came in and said that some of the makes of blocks have different size bolt sizes holding the cans to the blocks.
Is this correct. What size bolts are used. and if different sizes to different engine blocks are anyone able to advise what sizes to which make and model of blocks.

    bolts / stud size

If you are using 7/16 then that is what it is. My can has the info on the tag. as flange thickness, and bolt ID. Mine says .375 on the can. We use a step stud for the can. ARP / Spec. fasteners / BAE all have them.. Good luck Don

sounds like his can is already drilled for 7/16 bolts/studs, as he already has them in his TFX block, We use step studs with the BAE but its wrong to say they all have them, The fuel studs are very different again and 7/16 both ends
