    throttle return spring

I could not find one, but made one very easy with a pieces of flat steel bent on a 90 degree and bolted it to the bottom of the injector on the passenger side of the injector straight down from the throttle shaft. If you find one, please let me know.

Yeah i've seen that...it's nice but we're running a throttle stop so we're having to mounth the cable down low. We're looking for something for the return spring.

    DONT FORGET,
..you are suppose to have 2 springs on the injector,
One on each side,...One is your actual return spring, and the other is just there to satisfy the tech guys,

..BUT PER NHRA RULES you must have 2 on the hat....

Not to only satisfy the tech guys, to save parts and possibly your car too!

2 seasons ago the throttle arm on the hat broke in two and was gone (the one connected to the cable as well as the single return spring at that time). Musta had a small crack that we didn't see. I didn't notice until I got to the finish line and lifted off the throttle and caught out of the corner of my eye the throttle cable bouncing up and down beside the hat. The air going into the injector seemingly held the buttleflies open probably for the last 1/4 track or so, not sure when the piece left. Anyways, the car I was driving at the time had the kill switch in a hard to reach place (we fixed that fairly soon after) where I tried to reach for it once and missed and so I decided it was better to push the clutch in and let it go bang rather than go off the end at full throttle. Got the car stopped o.k.

Anyways, moral of the story. We run one spring per side on the hat, as well as one right on the pedal. Oh yeah, the arm that broke was one of them crappy cast alum deals - bought the nice billet ones from RBS after that weekend too.
