Any ideas on the how or who to have a wally refurbished? I have a championship trophy that was messed up while in storage. Any thoughts would be apprciated.

I think it is bronze. It looks like the coating is coming off an there is some pitting going on. The tire is the worst. There is also some wrapping/storage paper stains on the wood. It really is a shame. It is a '94 TAD Championship wally (yep, I helped Conway for a couple of years). I am just sick. You pay someone to put it in storage and this is what happens. It will be a couple of months before i get back to where it is. I will contact you then.
    Thanks for the reply.

You can get a new one [replacement] through NHRA... I did this about 5 or 6 years ago... Lost one in a divorce... It mysteriously burned up in a fire...
Not cheap, but I got it replaced...

Damn Denny I have heard you mention that divorce before but never new you lost a wally in it . Must of been quite a divorce . But anyway thats completely none of my business .

Good luck to the original poster , that would suck to have a wally damaged.

Yes it was... Not only did I lose the wally, I lost my whole lifes history in racing, in all the photos that I had... I've managed to replace some of the pictures, with the help of a lot of friends... Divorces are always ugly, but sometimes necessary..
