WOW! Only 11 PM and 20 TS cars. Don't know how many TF yet, but I hope the spectators didn't have to pay too much:eek: Oh ya, NO FUNNY CARS!

I wonder if they miss the the Alcohol Cars now. Well I guess if you piss enough people off it comes back to nip you in the bud. They won't be getting a dime from me. We are going to spend our money at Norwalk Div and National and Joliet Div and National and the Beach. Screw IHRA and their lack of insight as to what the fans want !!!

Kind of funny when some of the P/S guys have another option they choose to leave and race elsewhere like a lot of the P/M racers did . The AF/C guys have always had another option but chose to stay and race where they wanted to with the IHRA but the IHRA did not want them anymore . How's that working out for ya AP and Scooter ? . I hope the Feld people talk to their current racers and find out why they are leaving to race elsewhere .

They probably won't tell the truth that both AP and FP (Floyd is Skooters real name) are idiots and treat them like crap for fear of reprisal if they don't get the shitcanning they deserve. I have been praying Mr. Bader buys IHRA back and gets rid of those two clowns. I am certain Mr. Feld could find a home for them in one of his Circus troops as they are qualified and certified clowns. I know abunch of people that that camped near us at Martin and Milan that are pissed there is no Alcohol Funny Cars and they aren't going to Martin again.

I'm surprised Aaron hasn't made these deals Saturday evening spectator shows with eight car fields. I love funny cars as much as the next person, but IHRA had to make a decision between T/F and AA/FC and the T/F program was stronger so they won. I guess they only needed one blown alcohol class and the P/M got the spot. (Maybe because many have classic body styles like 69 Camaros, Corvettes, old mustangs, etc.)

There are almost 30 nostalgia nitro funny cars out at Bakersfield this weekend and a good amount of them scattered throughout the country, personally I think those cars would be a perfect match for IHRA.

Most people that were at the National event tonight (Saturday) didn't even care that there were only 11 pro mods. They saw pretty cars that went fast, a jet semi, and a crazy dude on a jet motorcycle (Kevin Martin is my hero!).

Tomorrow's (Sunday's) probable weak crowd will have a higher percentage of fans that are disappointed at the show.

    Long live IHRA

    Why,.
.Because Nhra saw how big the movement was taking off and they had to
get their hands on all the money that would be coming in, instead of good promotional work to help direct the money,..
back to the show >>>>THE RACERS<<<<

    although,..
I think that anybody that can pick of the rains and go with it, and provide
awesome entertainment to the spectators and keep them coming back, while
also putting money back to the show >>THE RACER <<<< can make and
have a good thing going, but like everything, there are risks, turnout, car count, weather, AND bad PR work.

I think any track, and any Promoter should be able to put together great
shows and better than decent pay, weather its a match race or a small series within their own confines,
without worrying about being threatend to have their sanction pulled from the ol high mighty list of the HRA.

America is suppose to be a free enterprise nation, and HRA seems to think they have everyone by their balls,( did I say think,,.I mean
..HRA Knows they have all of us by the balls), and we are too scared to stand up for the changes that need to be made to further everybodies envestments and returns. But things comke up like,..Its their sand lot, if you dont like it get out,.whatever,..make a change, get out lets play where we are more than pawns, and money in somebody elses pockets.

We had 38 top dragsters with a bump of 6.90. 12 Top fuel cars with Del Cox going 4.71 314 right down broadway. Standing room only yesterday!! It was good to see nitro at state capitol again. Would have been even better with nitro and alky floppers.
