I pretty sure this is a dumb question, but I've even asked some very experienced guys and they did not know. Could somebody explain what all the numbers 115t or 121t etc. mean. Also, what is the difference between HTD and GT belts?
    Thanks

I'm guessing you're talking about the number of teeth.
115t @ 14 mm pitch is 1610 mm (63.4") overall length which sounds about right.
GT is an improved profile of the teeth and given our experiences I would not use HTD belts for a blower drive. You can safely run the GT belts on HTD pulley's but for high performance it is best to use the GT pulleys as well.
Don't mix the 13.9 mm and 14 mm pitch versions though. It's only a small difference in size, but enough to cause trouble.

I guess I kind of worded that wrong. I did get the "t" number. The biggest question is the difference between HTD and GT profile? We held them up and couldn't really tell the difference. The blower belt in my hand is a GT 14mm
1568-75. What is the 75 number?

I was wondering this also. From the pictures Ive seen ,I think the gt has sort of a flat spot on the tip of each tooth, where as the HTD is rounded. Is this correct?

    Greg,
75 is the width of the belt in millimeters, 1568 is the length in mm's.
