I just got a lencodrive and the transbrake was working fine. Now it is blowing fuses. I've isolated it to the TB itself. I haven't pulled it apart yet. Anybody had a problem with this?

Of course, I'm calling Lenco tomorrow, but I'd like to start on it this afternoon.

We checked all the wiring and it is definately the TB. I am running a relay and a 25 amp fuse. It is a little corroded around the terminals. I check them out tonight.

Check and make sure the transbrake itself hasn't come loose inside the pan, it happened to me with only 12 passes on a brand new tranny. That was in 2003, Snyder hopefully has corrected the problem by now if your unit is newer.

It is a brand new tranny with zero passes on it. It worked good on a few starts over the last few weeks as we worked the bugs out and then stopped working. I checked where it goes through the case and that's not the problem. I pulled the pan and the TB solenoid didn't look loose, but I didn't think to check it. I'll pull it out tonight and see if the plunger is stuck or the solenoid's loose.

Be careful that you put the piston stop back in the way it came out of the brake does'nt work properly...Does not allow it to on engage all the way...
