Info on how to Read plugs

I have only been a member of this site for about a year. In that short time I have seen numerous questions and posts from a lot of people about reading plugs after a run. In most every case Mike Canter seems to be the guru of that area of tuning.

I'm not suggesting that there are not a lot of other folks on here that have the same knowledge and experience, but .......Mike has always seemed to be willing to share his knowledge about this subject.:)

If you have a specific question about reading plugs and are willing to "give up" a little of your tuning info, Mike is "the man"!:D

I have no tuning info. I am switching from race gas to alcohol this season in my boat and need to be able to read my plugs with some degree of knowledge on the subject. I have a flowed Kinsler stack as my starting point.

I have that article but it is for a blown motor. I don't know if there would be any difference between it and N/A but I sure want to know.

It is the same for a non blown alcohol application. It the non blown application it may take a couple of runs to show the results on the plugs.

No, I lost all the pictures when the hard drives crashed. I am going to collect more this year and then update the article.
