We are going to build our own hat, anyone done one, its going on a Kobelco K9 with all DMPE mods and DMPE 2 inch spacer.

Rules in our class stipulate no carbon fibre so were making it from aluminum.

I've made three over the years two for a roots and one for a screw. It is a lot of work. Last one used a bolt on throttle body and made it easier to fabricate, but I believe it created another issue. Want to change it but haven't had the time.

    Good Luck

Last spring I had the pleasure of meeting Jeff Fagala and going to his shop and seeing his "F6 inductor" Jeff did a lot of thinking outside the box when he designed and built this, it is a really neat unit , I would love to try one on my car!
Troy Chritchley told me that his F6 made good power but it was too tall {over the roofline} for promod rules. :)

Seen the F6 before, considered it but it wouldn't look right on an altered.

All we have left to do is freshen the heads with new titanium valves so this is a nice winter project for us.

    Anyone got any photos?

Don't want to copy just to get an idea of whats been tried.

It was on their outlaw car, and from what I was told they had to take it off everytime to get it in and out of the trailer!!

Do a member search for JT HESLINK on here. He has one of Jeff's hats on his altered, and it looks really good. He could probably send you some pics, or if you go to ofaa.net and look through the pics, you'll see it.

I know the car, its a Bantam isn't it? I like it but think it suits that type of body. Were going to keep ours flat I think.

Anyone have any power comparisons of adding the bell mouth to a buzzard?
